Yet another busy weekend!! We all traveled up north for the weekend!!

On saturday it was Connor and Megans birthday party with Grandma and Grandpa Kevin, Uncle Kevin, Aunt Andrea, Chase and Logan. The kids had a blast, we carved pumpkins. Actually me and Aunt Andrea carved pumpkins!

Grandpa Kevin took the boys(Connor and Chase ) squirrel and tree hunting!! I believe Chase had an awesome success rate, he managed to hit about every tree dead on! Connor was not as successful, he only shot one squirrel!! Good job Connor and Chase!! And I know you are all wondering what we did with the squirrel???? Yes we chopped his tail off-and eventually used it to make Connors fishing lure project for school-completely not my idea!!!

Later in the day we opened presents!! Megan had recieved some make-up, so obviously we had a makeover party!!!We are soo hot-Andrea!!

Whats a birthday with out birthday cake!!! Which I am still eating!!!

What a fun weekend!! The colors were awesome-but of course I forgot to take a picture of it!!

Footbreak, Football, Bigfoot......

Wow,we have had such a busy weekend I am just finally getting some time to blog!!

The weekend started off with Madison coming home from school with a sore foot..... which turned into this.........

After taking Madi into the emergency room, we found out it was a small hairline fracture. So off we went with our new crutches!!! Which Madison was very disapointed in the fact that they were not pink, we are going to have to glitter them up a bit!! I can't get the stupid picture to rotate so just turn your head.

Saturday morning we got up and went to Connors last football game!! It was so much fun watching these little guys all year, they did such a great job!!

That night the whole football team and their families were invited to a football party. We had the party at the greenhouses. It was such a blast, we handed out the trophies, then we had hay rides, the last hay ride was a scary one! One of the dads dressed up in the famous sasquatch outfit, and we had scary masks, and oh yea- and a chainsaw! The kids were flipping out!

We ended the night with some fireworks and a bonfire!

Sunday we had Connor and Megans Birthday party! The kids had a great time and we all collapsed into bed for the night!

Grandpa Connor?? "Meatmoaf"

Tonight we were sitting around the kitchen doing homework and Madison is telling us That Mr. Ashby(her teacher who knows everything, and we know everything about!)told her that the apple seed she planted this summer(not sure when she did this?) will not come up for ten years.

At which point Connor says " holy cow, you will be like as old as me!!"

After a moment Connor says "oh wait, you will be older than me......... and I will be a grandpa already!!"


Explaining to Connor that he will not be a grandpa in ten years and hopefully I will not be a Grandma, I still do not think he is very convinced of this!

And, thanks to his sister Megan, she keeps calling him Grandpa Connor.

As for the meatmoaf-this is what Megan calls Meatloaf-just thought it was cute!! I love this age where they say the cutest things and think they are totally right!!

Football, Grass skirts, toilet paper and lipstick!!

This weekend was packed full again!!! On Friday night Connor and Chad got to run out on the football field at the East vs West football game!! Before the game we had a tailgating party!

After the game the kids had some of their friends spend the night. Connor had Caleb, and Madison had Bella and her friend Madi. Surprisingly it went very well!!

On Saturday Connor and Madison went to pumpkinfest for the afternoon!! Megan and I went for a girls day out and then went home to get ready for Chase and Logan to come over!!

Since Chase and Logan have no sisters, my Madison and Megan felt it neccessary to "girlify" them!!!! I think they did a pretty good job:

Here is Logan sporting a one piece grass skirt, it is the next hottest thing on the runway, you go girl!!

After torturing Logan, the girls moved on to Chase, here he is with the hottest new shade of crystal light red hot lipstick!!

I have to admit, a whole roll of toilet paper later, that I am not used to having little kids around. Logan got into my toilet like a million times, thank goodness everyone was flushing!! Logan is such a monkey, he kept climbing onto and into EVERYTHING!!!

And here he is playing golf with my decorative gourds and the girls batton!! He loved this Batton!!!We had so much fun having all our friends over this weekend!! But I have to admit-I am a little pooped!!
